Rick Paris was born in 1955 in Queens, New York
 City, New York His love of photography started
at a very young age around 5-6 years old and
his parents let him and another brother set up
a black and white darkroom. He starting with a
Nikon F and finally moving up to the Nikon F5 film camera and now the high end digital Nikon SLR’s. 
After working almost 30 years in the Movie
Industry, owning a motion picture lighting and grip
company and then buying a movie studio in NYC,
Rick decided it was time to get back to his real
love of photography and moved to Montana in
May 2005

The Lolo Community Council represents Lolo and the surrounding areas with the Missoula County government. The council hears issues ranging from new housing development proposals, park and road maintenance, traffic related concerns and questions about the services provided by the county and any other subjects affecting the community. The Community Council provides leadership and support to ensure orderly growth and development, and services as a channel of communications with the local, State, and Federal government officials and agencies regarding matters of concern to the future of Lolo

We are a non-profit 501 (c) (3) organization dedicated to sustaining whitebark pine ecosystems. Our goal is to counteract the decline of whitebark pine and to extend the ecological knowledge of this ecosystem and other five needle pine ecosystems through (1) educating people about the values and the potential for restoration of whitebark pine ecosystem; 92) encouraging research needed to expand restoration; and (3) providing technical assistance and grants for restoration projects.
